Tonia Makri was born in Piraeus in 1980. She studied several years drawing and painting next to famous Greek artists.

At the age of 20 years old, she won the first prize in a nationwide jewelry design competition. In 2002 she completed her studies in college MOKUME while working as a designer with a large production workshop. She has also attended Gemmology seminars and courses in diamond setting in Galileo school in collaboration with the faculty of diamond setting of Cyprus.

Since 2003, she operates her own laboratory having a steady and consistent presence in all major greek silver & goldsmith exhibitions.

Supporting the traditional mode of production, each jewel is designed and manufactured entirely on hand (handmade), thus making each project unique. All jewels are gold K18 or silver 925 with precious stones, creating a high quality alternative route to female fantasy.
